The stars were out in force for the opening game of the 2010 NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night.
The NBA’s two most successful team will fight out a best-of-seven series and celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Snoop Dogg, Will Ferrell, Charlize Theron, Chris Rock, Steven Spielberg, Jason Bateman and Dustin Hoffman were in attendance to see the Lakers take a 1-0 series lead over their bitter rivals.
Also in attendance were Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Kevin James, Hilary Swank, Flea, Antony Kiedis, Sylvester Stallone, Bridget Marquardt, Andy Garcia, David Duchovny and Boston Celtics fan Donnie Wahlberg.
The Lakers won the game 102-89 on the back of a brilliant performance from star player Kobe Bryant. The shooting guard had 30 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the win.
The two sides meet again in Los Angeles on Sunday for Game Two before heading to Boston for Tuesday’s Game Three.
